Distinguished (4) Role Model - Performance of this caliber is widely recognized, respected and clearly distinct from others. Accomplishments are consistently and significantly beyond target performance standards. Contributions are exceptional.
Outstanding (3) Among the Very Best - Performance is outstanding. Accomplishments consistently exceed target performance standards. Contributions are substantial.
Effective (2) Valuable Contributor - Performance is highly effective. Accomplishments consistently meet and sometimes exceed performance standards. Contributions are significant.
Needs Improvement (1) Has Potential - Performance needs improvement. Work meets some but not all target performance standards. May lack the experience or time in position to be considered effective. Further progress is needed.
Unacceptable (0) Must Improve - Performance is unacceptable. Work does not meet performance standards, even when coaching and time to improve has been provided. Performance must significantly improve.
